Lenny and the Squigtones
Hey, awesome, Shanna, this may not be such a big surprise, but I have this album!
The Lenny and the Squigtones album was released at the height of Laverne and Shirley's fame. I had a copy when I was a kid because of their song "Night After Night." It was a minor hit, actually.
But the reason why I love the album now is for its connection to This Is Spinal Tap, not only because Michael McKean was David St. Hubbins in my favorite movie of all time, but because of the Squigtones:

Yep, none other than Christopher Guest, with all his hair at that, and using his own character's name he would use in Tap.
I love those late 70s and early 80s comedy albums. There's some great stuff on Albert Brooks' first album with Harry Shearer, A Star is Bought. for instance, which is just great.
