Oh man, today held so much... Waking around 10:30, I showered and got my brother up, and within the next hour we were gone -- yes, that is definately a record when it comes to more than one person leaving the house. We returned an old trashy video my dad wanted to watch, which consists of some guy riding around on his bike, getting off to get gas and eat and beat people up, and then getting back on. After 20 minutes, my mom turned it off. Heh... Serves the bastard right... Seeing as how we skipped breakfast, we went on to Taco Bell and tried that new... thing? with the cheese wrapped around...
You could say it started like any other young love in high school. Boy meets girl. Boy falls in love with girl. Boy dates girl. Boy loses girl.

I guess it's the commonplace that is the most tragic.
I was - am - a senior in high school. I met a girl with a sparkling personality ... to her the world wasn't a bitter place. She loved art and anything beautiful. She represents everything I wish I was.
She still does.
We were happy in each other's arms until I inadvertently hurt her. I loved her and would do anything to protect her, but in the end the lethal blow came from me. That's when she... (more)

Lenny and the Squigtones

Hey, awesome, Shanna, this may not be such a big surprise, but I have this album!
The Lenny and the Squigtones album was released at the height of Laverne and Shirley's fame. I had a copy when I was a kid because of their song "Night After Night." It was a minor hit, actually.
But the reason why I love the album now is for its connection to This Is Spinal Tap, not only because Michael McKean was David St. Hubbins in my favorite movie of all time, but because of the Squigtones:

And if you look closer, check out who's credited for guitar/clarinet/vocals:

Feeling a bit Dragon-y today, I went and took the What Color Dragon are you test. Last time I took it I was Yellow, So I was curious to see if it had changed. Here are my results:

A YELLOW Dragon Lies Beneath!

I took the Inner Dragon online quiz and found out I am a Yellow Dragon on the inside. My Inner Dragon is the most interesting of all. Yellows are the fourth rarest dragon of all (after Gold, Platinum and Chromatic dragons). They spend the vast majority of their time soaring high above the ground, often for no particular reason. They love to be in the air, and are thus typified... (more)
